Austin will be soon leaving us for bolder adventures in the Air Force. As a goodbye gift, young Nicholas created an Austin WOD. It was a nice bit a evilness that everyone initially thought was undoable. Once Nicholas decided that maybe 100 reps of everything was a bit much...the Monday 7pm team decided to tackle it
Since we've been rowing more lately I thought it would be nice to find out why we use the technique we use instead of just wailing away at the poor C2. The following is a video by an Olympic Rower. It is a bit long and I would suggest jumping to 2:49 to get the illustration of what we try to achieve on the C2.
BTW- What is a "Crab"? Given that I like to smack people, it sounds like a great coaching tool!
