-"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, WOW! What a Ride!"
-Yeah, but with Crossfit the bodies are nice!
Whew! What a ride we've been on during the past 5 weeks. The open competition is has come to a close and we've seen some great things at Crossfit St. Charles. Congratulations to all those that did the open wods. They were not fun to be sure. I imagine you've all learned things about yourself and may have even surprised yourself with uncharted ability!
As the dust settles and the points are tallied lets give a big shout to Ingrid Hurley. She currently sits in the 9th posisiton of the Masters division. Ingrid turned in a #4 place on the 3rd. wod and an awesome #3 place on the 5th wod proving she deserves to be in the top 10 of the world! I will admit, wod#4 was my favorite for Ingrid. Watching her hit the first set of double unders, and then her first of 3 muscle ups. I knew. Games bound.
